"promotion was not the primary target" apparently

It's a bit of a shock after the sounds coming from the owner at the beginning of the season. The reason given for the decision seems to be based around the style of football that Clement was trying to get us to play. Which wasn't as exciting or attacking as previous seasons under McClaren, but it was tighter defensively.

Personally, I think he should've been given the whole season. He had us top of the table on Boxing Day, so can't be all that bad. There's probably something gone horribly wrong behind the scenes though. Morris (the owner) went into the dressing room after a poor draw against Reading and it seems to have undermined Clement. The players haven't improved since then, the owner probably got involved when he shouldn't have, but giving him the benefit of the doubt here, he's a passionate Derby fan and his money has bankrolled our spending this season.

I'm hopeful that we don't keep with Wassall until the end of the season. He's a good academy team manager, but I'm not sure he can handle the pressure of the big job.

Moyes was at Fulham on Saturday. People already speculating about that. I don't think the ginger gollum is the answer to our woes. Some fans want Pearson, fuck that shit. He's shown that he had a good Leicester side and kept them just safe last season and Ranieri has proved what could be done with that team under the right management. Some have suggested Brenda. AAAAAARGH FUCK NO!

I'm not sure who will be next, but we've seemingly written off our chances completely this season whilst we're still in the playoff spots and not a million miles away from the automatic spots still.
