Happy with this? I need a new case and having borrowed one recently I'm not keen on one with 4 tiny wheels. Also, which size is the carry-on size?
-

Yes, very happy with it.
It's that realisation, the majority of the time I'm not walking around airports and their super smooth floors, I'm walking around European cities or US cities, with hard kerbs, cobbles, tram lines, stairs, etc.
These North Face things are dirt cheap compared to regular luggage, and pretty damn durable. About my only complaint is that they don't quite open fully for easy packing, but that is more than offset by being so durable and easy to trundle.

As for carry-on sizing, depends where you're going. The EU carry-on changed recently to become a fraction smaller.
We now own 2 of the North Face bags, both quite tiny.
The one I linked to, I bought two of the 19".
I'm good for 2 weeks in a foreign city with just that bag and a small rucksack. But then, I travel light.

New hard drives for my NAS:

This was triggered by SMART failures. Oh well, but at least I noticed it.

I like me one of these: http://www.amazon.com/Casio-Smartwatch-Quartz-Resin-Sport/dp/B01DYVLGWM

Need a new suitcase... and the wheels on this will take more urban knocks than most others, and it's cheap - less than £100 for all-weather EU size carry-on.
