@GranthamMiles the nine 2.4m lengths of C16 2x4 are outside my flat. I'll text you my address now.

They'll eventually need painting but for now should be okay under the tarp/used for running repairs.

We rebuilt the corner today which has been extended to give strength to that end of the court (with ballast of a sleeper). This means that one of the movable wall sections is now the door.

We also remade two of the snapped net supports from 2x4. However we didn't have the manpower or the time to raise the net.

The nets need raising before you play tomorrow. Also the court will need a sweep for any screws still left etc. (though we got most of them).

Also remember your subs and to email booking.

So, who do we email to use the court at the weekend? We were caught out last weekend and I'm sure this isn't the 1st time it's happened. Should we start sending emails to Herne hill for court booking a couple of days before the weekend?
Maybe we could have a default one we can all copy to make it easier?

Cant we just book it for July and August?

Worth a polite email asking if it's booked for any weekends and can we have reign of it for the unbooked ones?

Also what's the deal with weekdays? Surely we should be trying to play there at least once in the evening with the long nights and this fine weather, no?

For Sunday:

• net needs re-hanging on one short side
  
• long side static wall needs a bit of straighening up.
  
• one of the stanchions on the long side is leaning backwards a bit too much, but it'll do for now

Otherwise the rebuilt corner and new double-butted stanchions are completely solid, thanks to @citygent and @BRodrick for your work that day, it's held up extremely well.

Is there a posse for clean up and repair next Sunday ? If so I'll try book time off and bring some tools down. I can let Peter and Celeste know we're coming if it's on.

I can hopefully help next sunday, do we know how bad the court is? What work needs doing etc? Would it be possible for someone to have a reconnaissance trip sometime this week?

@cafafox would you be able to stick your head in there at some point during the week?
