It's a ridiculous idea that to occasionally splash out on a cycling jersey that costs north of ONE HUNDRED POUNDS you have to be working in the City.
I don't know what the average number of cycling jerseys purchased per cyclist per year are, but let's say for the sake of argument it's two and the average cost of a Rapha jersey is £110.
That's £220 a year, when the average UK salary is £26,500 or £1758 a month after tax. 1% of the average net income is £211. I'm sure I've read that cyclists earn more than average too.
