  • thanks! that's had me stumped for ages!

If anyone can sell me a cassette on the cheap that would be great.. I don't have a spare £50 knocking around...

  • This model crankset, at some point, was also part of the Daytona and Mirage and Centaur groupsets.

  • Yeah, not so easy to find one if you are not looking to spend a fortune on E-bay. Try here (wanted advert), local listings, bike kitchens and a LBS (preferably one that has been around for longer and might have a spare and used part bin) Alternatively you could mod a new or used hyperglide 7/8 speed casette (very cheap), but you would still need the sprocket or lockring to mount it.

  • Can anyone tell me what era campagnolo record this is....? Recent, for sure, but more specifically? Bonus points for identifying the frame from that "drivebox" logo...

  • 2007 or 2008.

Ultra Torque was introduced in '07 and 11 speed was introduced in '09.

  • Thanks! I didn't know if 10 or 11 either...

  • 11 speed parts have a jazzy logo on them.

  • any idea what is this bike model name ? I have only this photo.

  • Mmm, just a wild guess here.. motobecane mistral?

  • Yes! Looks like it. Found with same decals and same color way. Thanks!

  • Anybody know what this might be? It's got Campy dropouts and Zeus 2000 chrome forks. Hint of the day: I'm fairly sure it isn't a Colnago (That's what the person I bought it from said anyway, but I'm not sure how they knew that, the decals were already on when they bought it).

I've looked at a few of the old Zeus frames but I don't think it's one of those.

Edit: Sorry for the enormous photos!

    Cheers

  • I have this frame a couple of months ago, it was a gift, but I will travel and I dont know which brand or model is it, and i need them in order to register it to take it with me.

I Know its around 40 years old, never has been repainted, the Decals says Cinelli (but I cant find any frame like this in cinelli models yet)

I only recieve the frame, each other thing dont belong to the frame

  • My Soens had the same lug finishing and seatstay caps lining.

  • I've trawled the web and can't find a definitive answer, does anyone know what mounting system this bag would take?

  • Sorry it's sideways.

  • That definitely looks likely. Does yours have any serial numbers or other identifiers on it? Can't seem to find any on mine.

Has yours still got it's original decals? Be nice to see how mine was supposed to look, if indeed it is one of these.

    Cheers

  • It didn't have any s/n, and I don't have it any more.
You can check all the details on my flickr https://www.flickr.com/photos/61910272@N06/albums/72157632872700874
    Hope that helps.

  • Any idea on the threading for bb and forks?
Do you know the history of the frame? Where was it purchased (geographically), from its first owner or has it had a few?

  • Nice one. I think mine is probably one of his racing frames in that case.
Now, whether or not to take the decals off to see what's underneath...

    Cheers!

  • Hello, It was a gift from the father of my girlfriend, he got it in his "young years" bougth it from a guy (the first owner)... My gf's father says that its an italian frame, but that was so many years ago he forgets how was the front badge... He used to ride a lot this frame, until in a ride a part breaks and then he repair it and store it for around 25 years, then I build it again...

The decals are made of paper which says that probably are the original ones, he says that these decals never has been replaced and come with the frame, the fork sadly... The original breaks in a ride, long time ago, this one its a replacement he gets...

He says something about a "Florian or Florien" in the style or brand of the bike but he isnt sure neither... The bike was bought by him in Medellin, Colombia...

The serial number its maybe "ST 38389" that 8's and 3's are very weird

Thanks, and sorry for my broken english

  • I would appreciate any information on the information about the frame per the pictures attached.
Unfortunately its all i got at this point - but one may see some lugs pretty well.

    thank you

  • I'm looking for chainring bolts like this but other make than shimano as they're made from butter apparently.

  • Why do you say that? I've never really had problems with them and I've fitted tons of them.

I've no idea if other brands are stronger either.

  • Already stripped 2 of 5 of them while changing 1 chainring... I'm using them with Mavic 631 cranks.
