  • 2nd one is incredible!!

  • Last one of that dog I promise.

Boy I need to up my game regarding black & white conversions..
I'm happy with it but it took me ages.

  • Dog thread >>>>>>>>

...but they are good pictures. Really like the bw conversion. Worth the time.

  • I like this b/w one. Reminds me of Moriyama's dog. Although that's mainly just because it's looking backwards.

  • Knew it looked familiar!

  • Brighton.

  • Had a power cut and went for a walk, very surreal; literally no lights on aside form the cars and building to our west. sadly missed the rugby.

Not quite like some of those amazing one minute exposure photos you guys do, I think my camera only goes to 2 seconds, but interesting experience for me none the less.

Ha, thanks for the nice words. Though I'm not that much of a fan of Moriyama to be honest.
His dog is a beast, it's almost a bear!

    Also cheers @Well_is_it

  • Apologies in advance for lazy question.

Do any of you keep your x100t in a case with room for lens protecting filter on it.

I am going skiing, and would like the lovely scenery to compensate for my lack of photography skills. I am also as clumsy moron who can't ski, but would quite like to bring the camera back in one functioning piece.

I guess a generally practical case is more important to me than it being made of indestructablum.

  • When you say a case, you mean like the ever ready case? Or something with more padding?

It'll just fit in the every ready case with a filter on (you have to squeeze it a tiny bit but it's fine). If you want something with more padding, I guess look for something like a holster. Manfrotto make a small padded case that just fits it, although the padding isn't all that. If you want something with more cushioning, some people use those small clip on lens pouches that Think Tank and Lowepro make to attach to a larger bag - they're about the right size, have chunky padding and easy drawstring or zipper access.

  • Thank you very much, that looks good. I think it might get one of the ever ready ones and just not take the camera out to particularly fraught places :-)

  • Throwback to summer trip to Greece, just killing time looking through fb photos.
Remember having to get up absurdly early to catch some cheap coaches to various places. This is from the window of one as the sun came up

Hopefully not potato quality as on my phone stole it from fb

  • This is great, middle girl looks terrifying.
    How does roller derby work?

  • If I were to take an expensive camera skiing I'd go for a camera bag that's well padded (in case I fall), as well as offers sufficient protection from snow (so zipped bag instead of a "case").

  • rad!! Framing is perfect.

  • cheers man

  • The ever ready case is alright, although a bit pricey.

This isn't a bad idea if you want more padding
