I fancy the Sram Rival 1 chainset. Any ideas if that will be ok?
SRAM technical documents will tell you the chain line for that (43.7mm to the inside face of the chainring teeth, so about 44.8 chainline), you just have to find a hub and sprocket/freewheel to match.
The Shimano FC-S501 works on Pomps and has a 42.7mm chainline which is easier to match with normal track hubs. It also comes with a handy chainguard, 3 choices of ring size, two colour choices and an unbeatable price

Hi pomp owners,I'm currently building my first pomp, and as its my first single speed build, I don't know what I need to do bout getting the right chainset so the chain line is ok. I fancy the Sram Rival 1 chainset. Any ideas if that will be ok? Thanks.
