I have this 1987 VENETO 52cm steel bike I have just brought back from France.
Model is 'Virago 2' (which was also badged as 'Visio' or 'Vector' depending on where it sold across the EU) and is made of Columbus Cromor steel so roughly equivalent to Reynolds 531C. Straight chrome forks. One owner only and the bike is in great condition.
Centre to centre, 52cm top tube and seat tube, on 700c wheels so best suited for someone roughly 5ft4 to 5ft7.
The groupset is mostly Campagnolo:
Mirage brifters and brakeset;
Avanti rear derailleur;
Campagnolo hubs & 8 speed cassette;
Centaur front derailleur; and
Prowheel triple chainset.
The rest of the specification is as follows:
50mm short ITM alloy stem on ITM bars;
700c Mavic rims with Schwalbe Lugano clinchers;
Push adjustable seatpost & Vetta SL saddle;
Look Delta pedals;
Colour coded bottle cage.
All in, a great little bike which can be yours for £300 -> £290 -> £280 -> £270 -> £260 -> £250 -> SOLD FOR £230.
