  • Bullitt ride like a normal bicycle that happen to be a bit long.

    Find a Bullitt and test ride it (if you have test ridden the Douze).

    I rate Bullitt very highly too, was impressed with how it ride.

    I thought they rode the same way but I prefer having a step through frame as it is easier to mount / dismount when loaded.

  • I agree about the step through frame. But in my experience you only really feel the need for this when the bike has a really heavy load. A good piece of advice I was given was to really think about what you will be carrying most often and get the smallest cargo space you can get away with. The smaller the cargo area, the more the bike rides like a normal bike.

  • Is that not what the kickstand for? (To make it easier to get on/off).
