I have a masterpiece on my beater. It makes sense.

due to my OCD for matchymatchy I finally got a masterpiece seatpost
Doesn't the italic font of the "masterpiece" bother you? It's so incongruous when you see it next to the utilitarian font of the stem's vital statistics.
Surly an Elite would be a better match.

If you don't need disc then I'd suggest a DH-3N80.
If you're looking for the whole lot then you may like to think of what Spa will offer as they're great value. As for lights - B&M are great, Supernova and Schmidt are excellent but pricey. If it's just for around town then a B&M will do nicely as you're not really lighting the road up for yourself. They're back lights are great and cheap.

All the other lighting suggestions are great but I'm fairly sure you said it was a 'shopper' bike, so I'm guessing cheapness is the way.

£55 + £15 postage. Dynamo wheel with front and rear LED lights.I got that for my wife's bike (but 700c). Really good for the money. No noticable drag. Lights are more than powerful enough for the street. Better than all but the power canon style battery lights.

tbh, that looks like it's going to implode on the second trip out.
and zero style points, that too.
will be using it as a bad weather bike / commuter / haul loads of shit bike toofound some useful info in the (dynamo)light thread I'm looking into.
might get a cheap build together with just enough new parts to make it fully functional.and I do want to melt the face off the fucker who blinds me every day on my commute.

Thank you chaps. I appreciate the love.
It is not actually done yet. Mudguards hasn't arrived, so there's some fitting required still. Plus the rear brake hose should be shortened and bled. Also I think the saddle needs to go back 10mm.
Either way I feel ready for adventures, be it Epping or somewhere more exotic.Uhh and someone pls shout if you see a good priced disc dynamo front wheel/wheelset. A used wide rim front wheel would be ace
