Total cost for chainrings probably less than the entry to one of your Ironman races...

Both of my bikes are probably worth less than the price on an IM entry.

Actually what is the entry cost for an IM?

Entry Fee (Single Starter):
525,- Euro + 6% Active-Fee until March 31, 2015
from April 1, 2015 = 550,- Euro + 6% Active-Fee

What!? An Ironman costs 525 Euros to enter? That is insanity. Does every competitor get a 24ct gold medal?
