Super quick photo mission this morning on the way to work.... trying to catch some better images of the beautiful nacreous clouds. Really tough to do them justice.

I had a GRD IV for the bigger part of a year before I sold it due to not much use next to my 6D and film cameras.
Got it thinking I would use it for street stuff, cycling pics and general walk around camera as it nice and compact.Used it lots in the beginning when I got it, but carrying too much stuff around was tedious. As I also have my iPhone with me at all times, mostly turn to that for on the go shooting. Lack of viewfinder also got to me.
Great machine nonetheless, love the 28mm focal length (use a 28mm f1.8 on my 6D all the time) and the phase detection pre-AF thing was cool. Can't really compare the GRD IV with the new GR tho.
And can't really remember what my point was exactly.

Great tones in that. Do you do a lot of post to achieve this?

My friends little boy somehow got in and dropped it... Was basically only the case on the outside that was bashed, should have been a easy repair imo.

I do edit in Lightroom but I try not to do too much because I don't like things to look over edited.

thanks,
Sony A6000, with a Zeiss Touit 32mm (48mm equivalent) F1.8 lens.
I would like to try out some other lenses as shooting everything at 48mm is getting a bit boring, but lenses are expensive.

yeah lenses are well pricey. Ive been looking at getting a compact system camera for a while now, seems they are way more popular than DSLRs these days for general use etc @c0gsucker

Yeah I just wanted something decent that wasn't as bulky as a full size SLR. The A6000 is great but I do wish I'd spent the extra money for the A7, just for the full size sensor.

No these subjects are walking into mad powerful sun between 1 and 3pm all in Put high st where sun is low and streaming down the urban valley that pollution hot spot Put h st is....at that time angles can be found where just parts of subject can be picked out in otherwise deep shadow...I shoot them about 250 s/s and a full minus stop on eva.....usually I have to bring the highlights down in post......the set up is finding the pools of strong light and trying/waiting for a shot...Your last shot of the boy is great and the same principle ....
south facing long roads would be place to look....unusually London is not grey all day Atm.
It is a great shot @panic, was it taken through glass or outside?
