Size? Budget? I might have something nice depending.

Yeah I probably should have written that too. I'm 5'11 and usually ride a Large or something like 57x57. Budget, not really sure, will decide once I've seen it! Thanks
-
• #7
Ok, thanks. The frame I have will be too big in any case I think. Good luck!

Oh okay, thanks for the reply anyway!

Anyone else got anything available?

I am selling a genesis day one frame and fork - at 6'3" the extra large is just a little small and I'm looking to replace it with a new genesis frame which is a lot longer.
the frame is black 60cm set tube with a horizontal toptube of 575mm
I could sell as a complete bike if that is what you wanted. -
• #11
Is that the single speed version?
I think it may be a bit big for me. I'm 5'11 and usually ride something about 57 square. -
• #12
it was originally the alfine di2 version but since that all failed it was stripped down and replaced with derailleur gears (I had a custom sliding gear hanger made).
if you look at the new genesis web site the new large ( your height is around this size )
can send photos if you wish. -

Got any pics? Sounds interesting.

I ll take some tonight...
It's a Claude Butler Dalesman, but the frame is the same as the Dawes Galaxy was for that year; 09 I think..
Unfortunately, too big for me with drops-- It has all the necessary braze ons and is currently with flat bars but I have the Tiagra STI levers . -

Thanks. Drop me a PM when you take them.
-
• #18
Wouldn't mind a few pictures too if you could?
-

In terms of etiquette then I think jroper has 1st dibs? The bike is in Walthamstow.

What is the geo on that? Looks like a really long top tube?
And how much did you want for the whole bike? -
• #24
Pm me if that's easier!

Still on the look out for something steel framed for touring. I have bought a bike but will be looking to swap the frame out soon ish. Let me know what you've got!
Hi there,
Looking at making up a light tourer for a couple of tours and also just as a bad weather/light off road bike. Something like a genesis CDf or TDf would be good but will consider anything along those lines!
Cheers,
Josh
