I have a similar thing and it's great for hillwalking.

That first one is crazy!

It was intense and the photo doesn't really do it justice but it's the best I could do from my office window!

Anyone experienced using the Sony RX100 IV? I'm thinking of getting it this week for this years travels and events.
-
• #12057
Why is that Ed?
Despite having a smaller sensor, I found it a lots more flexible for everything (also smaller), I happily replaced my DSLR with the RX100.
Getting it charged directly from a camera instead of bringing a battery charger was a nice touch too.
Best thing really is for you to review both camera and go for the one that sound good for you.

What have you got? Definitely interested in getting something like it

It works great on my hill walking backpack and keeps the camera really solid. To be honest it works far better that I expected!

Cheers!

No bother, just for info I used it with an Olympus OM-D EM-1 and 14mm lens. Not sure how it would cope with a massive camera.

Anyone have any experience with the Canon G5x sounds like it compete withs rx100 quite well
-
• #12065
Does look it, only thing that separate it from the RX100 is the pocket unfriendly viewfinders.

Oh. Excellent a new thread to spam with my photos! Thanks Tina (don't know why I though it was Ed that suggested the cloud thread)

Yeah i was super happy with mine, great image out it and it just feels really nice in hand. What I am not stoked about is sonys repair service, its fuckin shit.
-
• #12069
Mind I ask why you send it back to sony's repair service? Something wrong with the camera?

Hey guys, I got an X100T just before Christmas - I absolutely love it but it's not going to get the use it deserves from me.
Anyone in here like it for £550 before I pop it on eBay this weekend?
PM me if you're interested. It's the black model. It's good as new. Comes boxed with all paperwork. I'll also include lens hood, Hoya Pro UV filter, screen protector and Lowepro case.
