• Looking to pick up a new frame set/bike on my mothers cyclescheme and torn between the above.

Currently have a hoy which is perfectly fine however the dropouts are slightly too short to allow a good range of gears.

Obviously the specialized and look are framesets and the felt and Fuji are full bikes. I intend to take the omnoms and wheels off my hoy regardless.

    Any opinions?

  • My other option is if course to just buy a Dolan tc1 and use the spare cycle scheme to buy another road/cross bike

  • Between a TC1 frameset (transfer everything over), a felt TK3 (can get a discount through the B2W) or a complete Fuji track pro.

Personally I have ruled out the track pro on cost alone although it was my first choice, the TK3 and TC1 come in near the same in terms of hit to the pocket for me, whats the opinion on the frames, which one would be considered the better frame or is there any difference in the grand scheme of things

  • Have you any opinions on which is the better frameset?

  • Will you be selling your Hoy frame?
If so, what size is it and how much would you want ?

  • I like my TK3, the only thing I have to compare it against is a pre-cursa but it feels much more responsive/stiffer than the Dolan. Picked it up for a bargain on wiggle a couple of years ago.

  • Definetly looking at the TK3, and moving everything from my current ride over to it, then selling the new kit on it. I am presuming the frame is identical to the TK2 and just the finishing kit is different?

  • The tc1 / track champion are great track bikes but probably not the best choice if riding on the road. Mine cracked because of this.

Just kinda read this post properly, if it's just being a track bike it would be great, very stiff.

@Antidotes swears by his 2015 style langster pro
