She claims she sold her old bike (which is exactly like her new bike) to a friend and that somehow she ended up riding her friend's bike instead of her own bike. Smells like a variant on the old 'I was just keeping it for a friend' excuse... But maybe she's telling the truth. She's right that her career is probably over, though.
