Did we win? Sorry in a pub.

Did football win?
-
• #123754
Nearly. Well, not quite. Almost.
You came second. -
• #123755
But we won morally right? Like arsenal?
-
• #123756
Yep, they needed to cheat to win. Two goals which when viewed in slow motion replay and by counting the pixels were clearly a matter of inches offside. cheating bastards.

Did the ref hate us like Everton?
-
• #123758
Nah, just a snide comment on how shite your defence is.

• #123759
Did Derby at least win the possession?

Did we gegenpressen?

Following the cup match via minute by minute in between working.
Sounds like an exciting game, switched out the side and still leading 3-0. Another chance for players on the fringes of the first team to get some playing time, and build their match sharpness and get that all important confidence back.
Chadli with two goals today and Kane off early doors to get some rest, surprised that the Sheriff played him from the start, but also gratified as it shows he wants to progress in the cup and takes it seriously enough to have Kane in the starting 11. -

Guardian is saying the mousa the younger deal is almost done though we may be loaning him back to Fulham. Not sure buying a striker to cover your only striker and then not having him around to cover is a good idea. But getting the young striker you need going forward is a good idea.
Bah! Just buy someone already... -
• #123763
Fulham don't need to sell and they can't buy either because of their transfer embargo. Letting Soldado and Adebayor go with no real striker behind Kane is suicidal and could be the difference between automatic qualification for the CL and 4th place.
Don't think Dembele is a great plan B fwiw. The few times I've seen him on TV he's been good but not sure if he's ready for the PL. Charlie Austin would have been an ideal replacement.

Welcome to our regular West Ham beating...

Atkinson's ref...you'll win, by hook or by crook

There's a bit of pressure to sell. His contract ends in June.

Do westham have any songs about their own club?
-
• #123768
the young lads done good
with 8 games, prior to this one, in jan the changes were needed ...
another replay could see us play nearly as many in febshame their keeper played so well

Shame Benteke is so limited cerebrally. Really poor stuff from him. Ibe isn't too far off him with poor decision making but he is young enough to work on it.
Take a bow lfc, £32M. When we all questioned the wisdom of how he'd realistically fit in some genius said, no! he is the man.
But big up the kids!

not much chat around Iheanacho but he seems to have a pretty handy goal record given how few mins he has played (in all comps)
doubt he will get much game time now aguero is fit again mind

Seriously. What a bad move that's looking like. I'd almost rather have Andy Carroll back.
-

It's insane that these totally nonsensical decisions are made and there is no one at all to answer for it. Then again I've heard rumours that JW Henry likes to take a very hands on approach to the purchase of players. Hope it's bollox. His job is to stay away from football matters and sign the cheques.

It's not like they wouldn't get any compensation as it would be decided by tribunal. Considering they're only 3 points from the relegation places it's understandable they'd want to keep him at Fulham for the remainder of the season.

Must be hard for Mourinho to see his Chelsea scapegoats playing with such flair and fluidity.
MK Dons' movement has been nice at times as well.
Two despicable teams embodying a great deal of what's wrong with modern football, but quite a nice game so far.

If Chelsea don't score 10 then they're too profligate.
If they don't win its a joke.
MK Dons are basically goatseing themselves for the Chelsea attackers.
we deserve penalties
