@AirTime@Tenderloin It's likely everyone is right. She will have to report the change to the lender, then they will decide whether they want to issue a new mortgage offer or are happy with an allowance in the contract as described.
If they want to send a new offer they won't need a new survey or any further checks, it will just be sending a new document over so a minimal delay.
