Hi all,

I have a small 1978 Arc-En-Ciel, french made bike going spare. It is in above average condition and would make a lovely pub bike / city beater.

It has a very short stem so would fit the shorter kind. I would say around the 5ft / 150cm mark, give or take.

The frame is 49cm ST and TT (CTC), likely made from 2040 tensile steel.
The wheels are 600A steel rims which are 541mm in diameter so you could also use either 650c or 26" wheels on it to upgrade. Smaller diametre wheels also mean that the top tub seats lower, ideal for those with shorter legs.

Loads of new parts on it:
-> New inner/outer brake cables in red;
-> New red bar tape;
-> New Michelin City J 600A x 37mm tyre with whitewalls;
-> New 18t freewheel;
-> New brake pads front & back;
-> Used aero levers;
-> Used KMC track chain;
-> Used Pivotal saddle and seatpost (which have been in the parts box for over 3 years so I am glad to fit it on a project!).
