The front would move but had almost zero power. Took it to Seabass and they couldn't get it to bleed, seemed to be a blockage around the lever.. but TRP have been very helpful. Hopefully getting a repair or replacement soon.
The range of movement required to shift gears is huge, is it always going to be the case? They're the dia compe ones that supposedly have 'power-ratchet' which I thought might improve them..
If friction, shift the gear to the smallest sprocket and see how much tension the cable is under.
If it feel loose, tighten it to until it felt tight, shift up and down to see if it can go on the 11t easily, if not, slacken the cable slightly until it start to drop to 11t easily.
