Aha ok, because I saw some MKS clips advertised on (I think) the Ribble site advertised as being "Made to NJS Standards" but couldn't see a stamp on it in the picture, thought maybe one existed somewhere.

philwood 8mm axle, drilled rear rack from 6mm to 8mm.

Did som ghetto touring 300k last summer with this on rear rack. first 60k from the ferry i got 24 cans of beer on the front rack haha. good times.

I just used one of those poly wire things to secure the second strap to the clips, does the job

why do you need NJS clips? Plastic doubles far out weigh them in terms of comfort

Well, the bike it's for will be a full njs build. I just wanna pick stuff that I like..

EDIT: My bad, I forgot that I was a few pages back and ended up responding to a post from a month back about Benotto tape. Sorry.

I have Benotto on mine and won't go back to anything else. It wraps SOOOO easily and if done correctly, you don't even need tape. Nice thing is if you run a quill you can remove it easily since it doesn't have a sticky back.

It does get a bit slick in the rain and it's thin as if holding your bare bars...but I'm now obsessed with the stuff.
