  • your a double cunt

    you're a double cunt

    (not you)

  • Big up the guy on rollerskates between Camberwell and Oval at 6.30

Being pulled along by his dog, in primary, at lots of speed.

I wish I'd turned around and got a photo now

  • I failed to take a photo of a woman on foot waiting at a traffic light to cross, somewhere around Earl's Ct this morning, with fucking massive parrotty bird on her shoulder. Macaw maybe. Huuuuge.

    10/10 for pirate lady.

  • Premiere Paving Services ltd from Weston-s-Mare

@Grubbythumb Despite being on the other side of the country, I plan some of the local newspapers for Weston-super-mare, and am pretty sure Premier Paving are one of the regular advertisers in the small ads. If you fancy the 'cyclists stay awesome' sign mysteriously appearing in place of their normal advert, just holler! :)

  • Ha, it's very tempting, although not sure how I'd explain it!

  • Great idea, but I looked him up and despite the fancy web site, he's just a bloke that lives in one of the local housing estates. I did think about a note under the wiper saying "From the cyclist you tried to squash. I know where you live!" But it's just one of those things and was actually more amusing than dangerous, as he was going so slowly.

  • I get the same buzz coming over Ally Pally - what a view! Worth stopping and taking a few moments to say thanks.......

  • It was a bit last year's Gent-Wevelgem out there this morning. Some amazingly strong gusts from side roads to keep you on your toes.

  • Really strong fucking headwind

    2/10

  • The beaten beast did me proud: Barcelona to Blanes, awesome mornings ride with near ideal conditions yesterday although might of been a death sentence for my bottom bracket!

Very jealous, often stay in Canet de Mar and always envious of those whizzing up and down the coast road. Will have to see if I can bring a bike next time.

  • WHOOSH. 3/10

  • Gusts made it exciting, Alu de Rosa felt a bit skittish jumping around at points. Creepily quiet on the OKR - Shoreditch route today... barely encountered another cyclist??

  • What has happening to the standard of cyclist indicating, either they don't bother and you find yourself having to make an emergency manoeuvre to avoid the right turn twat, or they either put a finger out, point to the floor or the strangest one put their arm by their side.

Almost took the guy that pointed to the floor before executing his right turn out last night, thought he was pointing at something in the road. What's wrong a good arm point straight out to the side you wish to turn?

  • What pisses me off is the ones who stick out an arm without looking and then blindly carry out their manoeuvre as if indicating = right of way.

  • Echelons over Westminster Bridge. Spring Classics! Also, pretty certain that what felt like a full on headwind on the way in, will feel exactly like a headwind all the way home.

  • Yep, it's up there with the quick shoulder check and manoeuvre regardless of what's behind you.

  • It's meant to hit 40mph in London tonight... not till a bit later, but we all know how wrong the weatherman can get it timewise

  • No headwind on the commute in, but that's because I was a lazy git and got the train.

  • Passed an absolute mug on a squeaky mtb this morning along Agar Grove. There's some temporary traffic lights half way down, which along with double parking make it very narrow. Mug sees the lights are red and decides to mount the pavement, so far so twatish.

But then... lights go green, mtb man spots this, realises he isn't going to gain any advantage so hits max squeaky mash, about 10 mph, along the narrow pavement...

I was gobsmacked, unfortunately he got left behind so I didn't get to call him rude names.

  • What pisses me off is clearly indicating left, with plenty of warning ( even with fluro orange gloves ffs) and having idiots still trying to undertake - even when glaring them right in the eye

  • Yes, that too.

  • I collided with a left-turning car last night. I was going too fast and travelling too close. The driver didn't indicate to turn until too late or check her mirrors (by her own admission). I managed to get my skid parallel so that my right hip and arm took the impact rather than the front of my bike and my face. I ended up on the ground and with a surge of adrenaline got straight up as I was partially under the car and afraid of being run over. Driver was pretty shaken up and very apologetic. I was equally apologetic and embarrased. Somehow the only damage to my bike was a pinch flat, and the only damage to my corpus was some bloody knuckles and what appears to be a broken little finger. The damage to her car from the impact was quite noticeable. That, combined with the witness reactions, makes me wonder how I wasn't more hurt. We parted ways without exchanging any info and I declined the driver's offer to take me to hospital. We both agreed to be more careful in the future. I woke up feeling fine this morning, other than my slighly mangeled right hand. The gloves were a £1.99 TK Maxx purchase, and the best money I've ever spent.

    very lucky/10.

    I'm speechless.

Heal up you lucky lucky person.
