If cat could lube a chain he could also open a tin of whiskers, would mean i don't get woken up early by him, but he would just help himself to whiskers and get fat :)

I think we are set on a kitten. Might be selfish of us but my other half has never had a cat so I'm reluctant for her to miss out on the tiny kitten stage.

Cats won't do anything for themselves if they can get a human to do it at 5am.

Frauds. Real cats don't meow to communicate with each other.

Came home with the shopping.
Turned my back for a moment, bags on floor.
Turn back again and the little fella is unpacking the deli corn beef slices across the floor for me.
So far he hasn't mastered opening fridge door, and dosen't walk around on the kitchen worktops :)

Naa, he don't.
He did once, knocked the saucepans onto the floor, scared the living daylights out of himself.
We have left food out and it's been untouched.Anything on the floor is fair game though :)

Booby trap with clanging saucepan traps :)
He will try and swipe food off your plate as you eat though, reguardless of where you sit table/sofa/chair so keeping him off the kitchen tops is a small victory.

Quick question. While my own furry psychopath is a joy to behold and has trained me wonderfully. My stepdaughter recently took on a friends cat who initially was fine but has recently started attacking her when she's in bed scratch her feet and occasionally drawing blood. It started playful but has escalated to this. Does anyone have suggestions on how to stop this behaviour? The cat is less that a year old, male and intact at this point although the snip is on the cards.
