It's no big deal but when u remortgage (if you have a mortgage) then the lender might insist on an indemnity policy for the lack of building control consent.
If they applied to the council for consent and they have the building control sign off then that's fine, but if they don't you'll get lumbered with paying for it. So ask your solicitor to check.
I don't know what you are paying for the house but the market round cann hall is pretty strong with crap houses going under offer even if they are asking 485 or so for them..
So managed to get 4.5% knocked off our offer which is nice - so have to go back to mortgage company to change amount? And looks like exchange should be happening in Feb.
Having looked through the survey nothing was really mentioned about the removal - should I contact them about it?
vendor accepted the drop in price quite quickly as I think they are getting worried - so I'm wondering if I could chip more of the price...
