• Fuck me, eBay really is getting so it's not worth the hassle isn't it?

The shitegoblin that was at the computer to bid but then 20 seconds later (I checked, it was 20, not 30seconds later that the auction ended) must have had some pressing business to attend to coz they were too busy to pay for the wheel they'd just bought, still hadn't paid 8 hours later.

I presumed it was a case of mummy leaving ebay signed in on the family comp but being err, mum about giving out the paypal password so I started a cancellation of the order. Which the seller agreed to a mere 4 hours later with no complaints, objections or anything but they've now left me negative feedback.

Meanwhile I'm having to wait till the fricking 19th of Feb for PayPal to decide whether or not I can get the money back for the Hope brake I bought that was described as fully functional and "Just been bleed"(sic) but quite definitely does not chooch.

Seller of that one told me to send it back but that if it was anything other than fully functional then I wasn't getting any money back and either way he wasn't going to refund the postage (from him to me, ebay and paypal both seem to give zero fucks about the cost of return postage).

    Gaaaaaaa.......

  • Lots on eBay use automated bidding/clicking to cast a wide net and buy everything then dick people about after as they can often cancel or dick about till the seller cancels as the old rules of winning meaning buying are so badly eroded.

  • Yeah, I've had this so fucking often.

I can't even leave a response to the feedback as there seems to be some kinda glitch in the site and fuck nose how your supposed to report that, I just spent like 30 minutes searching through the 'help and contact' or whatever bit and there's nada for site issues.

  • fuck nose how your supposed to report that

    'Loosing' thread >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

    :)

  • Bookmark them and if ever they sell anything create a random eBay account to fuck with them.

  • It was an intentional typo.

  • Too much hassle, I'll just imagine that they've given their hobnob one dunk too many and ended up with half a biscuit at the bottom of their coffee or something.

  • Or taken ice cream out the freezer and not left it long enough so bent a spoon.

  • Paid the invoice amount through PayPal.
Ready to go medieval if he comes back asking for $12...

  • Need your advice guys. Am I "that" buyer.
Ordered "good condition" trainers. They came worn, but i could still use them for running. Emailed seller I would like to send them back or could accept partial refund.
Week later seller replied asking what I would like to do.
I asked his address so I could sent it back. Didnt heared for another 5 days.
    Opened the case.
Only after a case seller came back asking again what i want to do. I said i want address. No replay for another 3 days.
Asked ebay to step in. They fully refunded me.
Should I still chase seller for the address and send the item back?

  • Can't you see the seller's address from there Paypal details ?

I think you've more than done your bit by asking for their address twice. I'd let them chase you now, but I don't think you have anything more than a 'moral' obligation to return them now that ebay has give you your money back.

  • Someone must be trolling me through eBay...

I've had a pair of trainers on eBay for the last few weeks and a potential buyer messaged on 4th Jan asking if I could get them to him by Friday (8th).
Since then, I have (honest to god) received 39 eBay messages from him either querying how long they'd take to arrive, how much postage would be, that he'll pay "straight away" once I can confirm certain details, that he "just needs to sort his Paypal account out", etc All the while, apparently urgently needing them every Friday.

  • Sorry about that man. I'll send you the money by bank transfer once I get paid this Friday, if that's OK, but I NEED them by the following Wednesday. Is that OK?

  • @HousecatHST I wish. Paypal just the name of whom received the money.

  • Someone on eBay messaged my sister if she'd wear the trainers she was selling in some dirt, puddles etc and include pictures of them being worn. If so, he'd definitely buy them.

    Creepy as fuck.

  • My sister is cabin crew for an airline and LOADS of the girls sell their used cabin crew shoes and tights on eBay. Seriously - search for "used cabin crew shoes" and it's a goldmine of seediness.

  • Same creepy stuff with the "well worn lads trainers". Seriously, why...

  • The fuck is wrong with people?

  • I know right, it's a perfectly legitimate fetish...

  • Same creepy stuff with the "well worn lads trainers". Seriously, why...

Yeah this. Often tagged "scally chav abused trainers" etc. Weird

  • A friend was dating someone with that kind of fetish. There was smelly trainers being strapped to the face and all sorts.

  • Oh, ok, im out...

  • Lolz

  • Someone on eBay asked me to sell them my item off eBay and for them to pay via paypal, their account is new and they only have 1 feedback... Would I be at risk if they send the money as gift?

  • ^ Do not do this.
