Worth adding that despite the limited content Assetto Corsa support mods, of which there are a hell of a lot.
Some of them rate pretty well in comparison to the official stuff, such as this pretty good version of Donington that some clever cunt knocked up in their spare time...

Just started playing The Witness:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ytwNUMdbcE
Starts really simply and gets challenging as a motherfucker in about 30 seconds flat. About two hours ish in now and activated two lasers. Not sure why or what for but it's excellent.
For such a simple puzzle mechanic, he's managed to find a fuck load of variety.

Of course you can't be doing decent racing games in front of the tv with a controller...

Still not getting too far in fallout 4. Tried taking on those raiders in that base thing for the settlers with two pistols which could barely reach them. Binned it off and went for a walk and have since bought a rifle which will hopefully have the rang to hit the little cunce.
Am I doing it right?
Also, ghouls, cheeky little fuckers them, had a few swift kickins from them. -

The dream. I've got two force-feedback logitech gamecube wheels (no pedals) which I'm gonna try and get working with the wii-u gc-usb adapter at some point before summer. Someone has written the driver to get the adapter working so it should work okay.
I've got no idea if I could but separate pedals and get them working in conjunction with the wheel, but that would be amazing, shifting on the wheel paddles and proper acc/braking -

try crouching and then VATS, that'll improved the chance nicely.
injecting Psycho will help too, but best saved for worse scenarios.

Cheers buddy.
I have finally worked out Vats, but it runs out pretty quick right?
No idea what injecting Psycho even is.
I get the feeling if they are not dropping after 2 headshots then my pistols are shit. -

It depend on how much Action Points* you have got, some perks** and levelled up increased the action points, some weapon reduced the amount of action points it need (says you can fire off 5 shots in one go instead of 2).
Psycho is a drug, a consumable item in your AID selection, just after WEAPON and APPAREL.
There are many consumable that you can inject/ingest to allow increased strength/slow time down/etc.
*Action Point situated on the lower right of your screen, become obvious when in combat/sprinting/VATS, titled "AP" at the end.
**The perks Agility increase Action Points which mean you can also sprint for longer.

Welcome to Fallout.
One of the 'features' of the game is that visually unarmored enemies will still need several direct hits with high caliber weapons before they drop.
It's bit irritating hitting humans in the head with a ridiculously highly leveled sniper rifle bullet - or even a missile - and have them shake it off like I'd hit them with a tennis ball.

Ohhhh... guess i'm still learning.
Tripping on a stone kills you in DayZ, I forget other games are not quite the same. -
• #14766
To be fair, tripping on a mini nuke will also kills you in Fallout.
-
• #14767
Is this true even if you've not alerted them? I remember sneaking around in NV head-shot-ing everything with a silenced sniper rifle, and if they weren't aware of me it'd kill instantly
-
• #14768
That is true, a good distance away and moving to a new spot after you did a headshot helped.
To make you undetectable, it's best to walk slowly (cap lock) which result in the Caution bar slowly disappearing instead of increasing toward Danger;
If the bracket start moving closer to the word, it mean the chance of being detected increased.
Bracket moving away from the word - less likely to be detected then turn to Hidden.

I'm playing on Very Difficult and dealing with Gunners and Child of Atom followers. They have re-enforced heads, even when sniped undetected from long range.

Basically better off trying to shoot limbs then?

• #14771
I'm using Mc'Cready's 95pc headshot chance bug tho :)
-
• #14772
I didn't know you could do that with a mutfruit.

I only slept with him to get the headshot perk. IT WAS WORTH IT
-
• #14775
Actually you don't need to sleep with him to get that part.
Slut.
Ahh didn't get that far down the thread before posting!
