  • Polish frame probably a better value and darn sight more flexible in getting exactly what you want.

    My main concern is that those Dolan aren't the strongest of frames, cracking near the BB is not uncommon but does happen, so putting a lots of effort and times for a frames that may not last a while.

    Steep angle as in 73 degrees headtube? a fair number of frames have that, that or more rake on the fork helped.

  • Dolan pre cursa is somewhere between 74-75 headtube. The geo chart is not correct. The seattube and headtube are basically parallel, so something is wrong (actually... right) there.

    My best guess is this for size 56 with the alpina fork:

    Headtube angle 74.7 / Seattube angle ~74.7 / Stack 553mm / Reach 414mm /Front-center 584mm

    Fair point, @Hulsroy build his own frame with a steep headtube similar to your to gain the low trail handling you also enjoyed.
