Bus lanes are least worst option in many main roads in london. Looks like they may be over run by wealthy car nuts who think that may be able to speed up their commute/ journey and in mean time they'll be slowing down buses, motorcyclists, taxis and cyclists.
In London you can buy anything. -

I will freely admit to riding in what might be referred to as "primary plus" in bus lanes (for e.g. Brixton Road) to make it impossible for a following double track vehicle to pass without moving fully into the standard lane.

This, in spades. Going electric is the only way I can see of saving the black cab. It is increasingly outdated and uneconomical and I can't wait to see the back of them for good.
