Early 90s Dawes tandems for a start...
I think it's when they use thicker wall tubing on the tandem framesets as well as on the 531ST tubing too.
It's possible to ream them if you need or turn down your favourite seatpost on a lathe.
Edit: it would seem Kona had a thing for them too.

Most 753 frames, and because that's what fits.
