It'll be a tail wind so no excuse.

I do tail wind quite well

There will no torrential rain tonight.

And, as m.o.n. says, the good news is that the 40mph gusts will be blowing from the South West so you'll get a nice push all the way from town, along the KTR and up Swains. Just watch out for the falling branches.
