This is fun; someone has dug up a 1983 Finnish newspaper article that said Lord Seb of Coe failed an internal UK doping test and pulled out of an event in Helsinki as a result which was covered up.

Townsend's defence was that another tester with whom he had an ongoing feud (and was in fear of), had spiked his drink.

I was going to point you towards the UKAD judgement, but it's been taken down. I read it online so don't have a copy, but I'm sure someone will.
