New place demands more storage creativity, have too mich height for any pole option so will go the Point pedal route.
Problem is, can´t find any (except ebay) so am willing to produce some.Anybody with the point pedal thing willing to measure it up so I can replicate?
Angle and length of angeld bit seem most important.Maybe willing to make a whole bunch if anyone wants some.

re Point: length of long bit could probably be improved ... Seems like the length allows clearance for handlebars on a jump bike. No good unless you use a jump bike. So try making one a bit shorter (at least, that's how I'd improve it).
I could try and measure one of mine on the wall if no-one can lend you one. Would like a new improved one in return ;)

Slow puncture + Clug = expensive bike on floor this morning.
This is quite a consideration, wonder how many people have actually caused damage cos of this?

Only solution I can think of are big magnets that pull on the valves

This is a good suggestion. I re-angled mine slightly so the bike sits at a more acute angle. The platform that supports the pedal is also pretty big (designed for flats) so if you don't use them you could save some material/space here as well.

^ let me think up something, I'll post a design here as soon as I have something usable.
thinking angle cant be to steep as it would need a descent pivot point on the tires which would relieve downward force on the pedalplate. downward/gravitational force vs sideward force with pivot point on tires should be about equal I think.

Those racks made from an Ikea pole lok ideal for what I need however seems Ikea don't do them anymore. Anyone know where I can find something similar?

One of these kinda things for plasterboard:

And some rubber munsen rings to attach an alu bar and hooks, is currently doing the trick holding a couple of bikes for me.

Velcro strap screwed behind the clug which can loop through the wheel.

Cheers, this is probably the answer I couldn't think of. To the haberdashery, clugman!

Interested in improved pedal hangar things, you should do a list
-
• #663
Will make list once I finalize a design and get quote from my supplier.

I've just fitted two gearup pulleys in the hall way. They're well made, and there's lots of fixing options.

Just uninstalled a pair of those Point pedal hooks because I need the wall for something else.
If anyone fancies the pair for a tenner just let me know.
Edit: Sold to @b&d

Is there a forum front garden bike shed of choice? Something that will keep them safe in East London but not cost the earth.

Anything labelled Heavy Duty from one of the online retailers should be ok but you will always need to add additional features - shed shackle, door hasps, ground anchor, tamper proof bolts etc.

I've used these to make pedal hangers in the past - just need a bit of dremelling and bending. I always just guessed the angle....

Does anyone know where I can get something like this, but with a closed loop/cross bar thing so that there's something to get a lock through.

Attach one of these (or similar) to the wall? http://www.saundersonsecurity.co.uk/acatalog/PJB_Taurus_Bull_Ring_Anchor_PJB549.html

I like that a lot. What's the ceiling height? Whats it like hooking and hooking one of the bikes from the middle?
I'd even bothered to install a rudimentary wedge under the rear wheel. Fortunately no damage, must have rocked back on to saddle then kept upright by other bikes. I think will cable tie in the short term, until I think of something better, it's not a frequently used bike.
