re Point: length of long bit could probably be improved ... Seems like the length allows clearance for handlebars on a jump bike. No good unless you use a jump bike. So try making one a bit shorter (at least, that's how I'd improve it).

I could try and measure one of mine on the wall if no-one can lend you one. Would like a new improved one in return ;)

This is a good suggestion. I re-angled mine slightly so the bike sits at a more acute angle. The platform that supports the pedal is also pretty big (designed for flats) so if you don't use them you could save some material/space here as well.
