Finally cleaned my daily of salt and rust, switched back to risers, drops were too much for my short commutes and made the steering twitchy. Reused the original STX brake levers (dremmeled off the gummed up shifters), upgraded the x5 shifter to a x7, cheap Kalloy risers and grips from Decathlon. Could use a longer stem, but I guess it will involve an adapter and drilling the stem for the brake cable. Need to figure out a chainring guard to keep my trousers clean.
Not yet, there is one on local listings for 5 Euro, just havenĀ“t had time to pick it up, thanks for the offer though. It also might be a good excuse to buy a flex machine :)
