The guys behind x-fusion are ex Fox no? So the coating might be very comparable. I know it's a recommended upgrade on Fox forks.
The 34mm stanchions are a nice mid ground. Which is why I was considering them for my XC - AM compromise bike.
From what I read the sweetspot is kinda small. But once dialled it's a sweet riding fork. I did read convincing reviews from guys coming off both floats and revs.
