I think it's from Habitat (or possibly the Sainsburys versions).
We were going to get them, but then we found that square, black plates were more expensive, so we alternative between those and slabs of old scaffolding board.

Enamel rice plate - actually very useful because you can bake in it and serve saucier type meals in it
