Different issues all together. You offer to help Spuds out with some of his wages to the end of the season, under no obligation, after which he is a free agent. He wants to bee seen so he can get a decent new job so will work for that long. He's a lazy fucker but only once he's got his feet under the table and knows he can't be shifted easily. Perhaps he might even be older, wiser and humbler enough now to knuckle down and get on with using his talent. Bit like Anelka did at West Brom.

We had a bloke called Ravel Morrison who we assumed we could help after SirAlex dispensed with his services, but he was a lazy fucker who also had some rather serious psychological issues as well.
