Is there any reason why, on a custom frame, you would run paragon slider or rocker dropouts rather than running a chain tensioner with standard dropouts. Assuming you're not going to run the bike fixed, do they provide any advantage over a basic ss covertor chain tensioner?
ie, why this
over
other than aesthetics? (ignore the disc brake mount)
If you want to run a disc brake, then you want the caliper to move with the wheel axle, which the Paragon sliding or rocking dropouts achieve. Other than that, I can't think of any major benefit. But if you're running SS rather than fixed, I can't see any benefit.
