Saw a very nasty incident last night.
A cyclist took the sharp right hand corner at this precarious junction way too fast. His front tyre lost all grip and the bike went underneath him. He came down very hard on his face and head, I think he was unconscious. I was right behind him as he had just come hurtling past me down the hill. I thought to myself, 'Your going way too fast for that corner' - I have lost my rear wheel there a couple of times - and then he hit the deck. I just about managed to avoid him. Stopped to help him out, called an ambulance etc. He was very shaken up.
Be safe out there, even when there is no ice, some of these corners are so slippery. Just remember, it's not summer
