Been riding my sensible bike around in it's light-touring setup since this summer with 32mm Marathon touring tyres and a layed back position. And it's been such a drab, sluggish, uninspiring experience I was close to selling it.
Sensible head prevailing, I instead (and finally) got around to switching out the tyres today for something a bit speedier. Amazing what a difference a small change in weight (600g) and compound can do. If I get myself organised today I'm gonna switch for an inline seatpost and a 10mm longer stem for a sportier position. It's only been 18 months since I bought the mudguards too, about time to put them on!
