Look pretty identical to me.

My new (ish) Loakes felt weird today. Worn less than half a dozen times now I think, and a few times were longish walks to break them in. Felt like my heel was walking on the inside, rather than straight, tried to correct it as I was walking, deliberately walking on the outside of the shoe. Long day later, the upper certainly is slanted inward. Not sure what to do, but I can feel it when walking.

These are derbies. Our legacy ones upthread are oxfords.

The Our Legacy ones were all dead stock from about 5/6 years ago when they were made in England by Sanders.

For what sort of space?

Either bottom of a wardrobe or a standalone unit for a wall / under a window-something flat.

Just toss 'em in the back seat of your Bentley, with the windows cracked open.

Query about Meermin sizing. How do they fit? Should I go for my trainer size or the size I take in say Grenson or Loake?

Would be interested in some feedback on their sizing too.

Depends on the last they use. I'm a UK 9 for trainers. 8 for Trickers and Church's, 8 and 8.5 for Barkers, Meermin and Paul Smith.

I've ordered a pair a while back in the Hiro last that I haven't got a clue for and ordered a 8.5. Might have to wear thicker socks or use something else if they come up too big.

I like the Cordovan brogues they put up this week on MTO.

Still waiting for then to do a Oxford plain toecap in black cordovan, bit bothered if it's pebble grain or regular.
