I see what the mechanic is saying, the 58cm have exactly the same reach as the 62cm, with the major different is obviously the handlebar height, the 60cm version is the longest they sell.
If you tend to ride in a race position with a slammed stem on your current bike, then the 58cm may fit you (emphasised on the may), it's really best to try out both model in a shop first.
The slacker seat tube on the 63cm model might be too slack for you if you tend to ride with an inline seatpost.
(all this base on old Supersix and not the 2016 model).
Been looking at a cannondale supersix evo hi-mod frame. Was going with a 63cm but a mechanic friend of mine said I should go with a 58cm instead. I'm 6ft 5 and this bike will be for racing on.
With a long seatpost and stem, can I get away with that size? (60cm is out of stock...)
