Yes of course it's possible. I find it easy enough to do in the UK with its low temps - good luck trying it in Australia though. In what temperature was this quoted?
Other factors as well as temp: is he -only- riding 200k or is this part of a longer ride? Is he eating stuff as well? What is it? Did he hyperhydrate before starting?
Just read that Kristof Allaegert apparently drinks a bottle of water per 200km. How's that possible, is there dehydration conditioning or something?
