Lovely. I just had a spin in the local woods and was reminded that SS is hard going for a middle-aged fatty :-)

Buff, frozen trails yesterday. Snowy, slushy, muddy shitfest today. Tougher going. All good :-)

What is it ?
Makes me think of a very updated and lightweight BMW....... if they do such a thing :)Edit.
Found the blue link.
Understood some key german words like rad/bmx/konstruction etc etc only 16.02kg just needs a bashring/skidplate and i would cartwheel that down Fort William for them :) -

I do have a cold, and have been taking lots of pills/drugs/cough medicines, it may have clouded my judgement somewhat :) -

Not as sexy as most of the bikes in here.
But it's mineWould need a new crankset and maybe a fixed gear rear wheel for winter as hydralic brakes doesn't handle the temperatures up here

That's lovely. Swifts are some of the nicest looking SSMTBs I've seen.

Nice. Cable disc brakes perhaps?
-
• #1071
tested cable brakes before but the condensation get in to the housing and they freeze the next time i go out :(
Been around -28 to -35celcius up here the last week or so. Would be nice to have a fixed wheel to put on for the winter riding, just so I know that nothing will brake haha

Might have some SSEC still on the PC somewhere.
I very nearly bought a Swift. At the time i swung towards a Karate Monkey because it could run any brake and i couldn't afford to get a disc ready 29er wheelset and brakeset. Couple years down the road and i still haven't got disc's on the Monkey but slowly gathering parts.....
There is a nice simple elegance to the Swifts and i do like the colour.

Wish they'd start making the Peregrine again :( Been on the hunt for an XL since about a month after his last one was sold.
