Charlie Hebdo are either massive racist cunts, or are trying to make out that the media are fickle using an ill-advised cartoon which makes them seem like massive racist cunts.

If there's so much ambiguity around their work that no-one knows exactly what they mean, then they're clearly not very good at it.

A set of bike racks placed too close together to use are in fact a piece of ‘public art’, a council accused of botching the job has claimed.

But I hate this attitude:

“Somebody needs to be fired for this,” he said.

Given that they're so uncomfortable with the Je Suis Charlie stuff, it's entirely possible that they wanted to piss everyone off so that people would stop putting them on a pedestal.

Re the firing talk - yeah, typical sharp-elbowed middle class wanker turn of phrase. Quick Google turns up a tech journalist of the same name who frequents a Noel Park message board and seems to do a lot of talking head work on TV. Turn of phrase fits the usual talking head MO, I think.

They cocked up the bike racks on Green Lanes as well.

First time round installed some crappy square section tubing with lots of sharp edges and shit welding which cost about 5 times as much as a sheffield stand. They all had to be dug up and replaced.

The justification there was also that they were selected on aesthetic grounds.

It's pretty clear they're attacking the hypocrisy of people/role of media.
