  • Tbh I don't give a fuck. What happened in the match happened in the match. Dodgy refs or dodgy decisions tend to even out over the season. I'm sure I'd you polled all fans about worst decisions from refs this season, they would even out.

It's entertainment. Not life or death. I don't want video replay. I like the human factor.

  • Moaning about refs just distracts from the team failing somehow somewhere.

  • Well that's the point. Refs can get away with shocking, pisspoor officiating and not be held accountable. A disgruntled manager is honest and speaks his mind and he gets fined

Clattenberg has been doing it for years

  • ru your keeper should have been off.

    Huth off.

No - heading sea y from goal and two defenders tracking back. Probably the only decision he got right.
    Yes - probably twice.

  • Top trolling titface

  • Our shit decisions against us are way more than the 'lucky' decisions. Same at Bournemouth: the fella puts 5mins up in the board, the cunts scores on 98mins!

Clattenberg gives a non peno to Stoke in 92nd min....etc, etc

  • I think the refs troll on purpose. Mainly for the lolz.

  • You can see why they played more injury time than the minimum they had to if Everton scored in added time and then fannied about celebrating.

You can also see why the ref and lino might not have been sure who had the final touch which flicked it on to Terry, it's a close call and you hear a lot that the benefit of the doubt should go to the scorer. The benefit of the doubt should never go to Terry though, that should be a rule too.

The real problem for Everton is that after being 2-0 up after 60 minutes having allowed Chelsea only one shot on target, they still conspired to fuck it up. And the real problem with the Terry goal was that Chelsea managed to win three headers in a row which ended up with the ball being free on the six yard line.

  • So it's our fault cos we didn't defend properly yet we held our line and he was 2yrds off and the lino and ref missed it?!

Fuck me...looks like I chose the wrong week to give up heroin!

  • I couldn't give a fuck if we were 10-0 up, we were robbed by pisspoor officiating...again, end of

  • *waves*

  • Defending is about more than holding a line.

Winning headers in your own 18 yard box is part of it too.

  • no. But it's part of the game. Unfortunately. Humans make mistakes.

I think mirallis had at least two chances he *should * or could have scored if he was more consistent, your criticism of him. He should have finished that shot after he turned the defence.

  • Played the man not the ball.

  • HE WAS OFFSIDE!!!!

We were defending in our box! Fuck me, it's like talking to a bird!

  • They were lucky to get a chance to equalize. They took it.

  • The money the rrf received from Chelsea ensured they won
    Is that right?

  • This.

It's like talking to a child.

Yes, he was offside. But the fact that the ball bounced there and hadn't been cleared by that point isn't the ref's fault, it's shithouse defending.

Everton didn't fail to clear it because they thought John Terry might be offside in the near future. They failed to clear it because they cocked up.

  • Oh do fuck off you pair of shitcunts

    'shithouse defending'

  • It was the perfect demonstration of momentary blindness.

I generally tend to skim through and not react/bite when G goes all rantasaurus on us, but from the various angles that have been generated since the event, Mr Terry looks to be shockingly offside.

  • I'm doing you a favour, this is ammunition against Martinez. You could say the refereeing decision is a welcome distraction from the team's inability to protect a lead and see out a game. Maybe Martinez paid off the ref so blinkered fans would aim their vitriol at the ref rather than his management decisions? Taps nose...

  • Has Dave got any plans to bring back the ignore function anytime soon?

  • No-one's arguing against that, we're just saying if Everton were standing on the ball near the corner flag, rather than letting Chelsea mince through into their box without challenge, it wouldn't have mattered where John Terry was.

  • Ignore's been back for a while.

Does this mean you're still seeing Lynx's comments?

  • This is great, I should get into pointless arguments more often.

Go on, someone tell me Mick McCarthy isn't doing a great job.
