  • You can see why they played more injury time than the minimum they had to if Everton scored in added time and then fannied about celebrating.

    You can also see why the ref and lino might not have been sure who had the final touch which flicked it on to Terry, it's a close call and you hear a lot that the benefit of the doubt should go to the scorer. The benefit of the doubt should never go to Terry though, that should be a rule too.

    The real problem for Everton is that after being 2-0 up after 60 minutes having allowed Chelsea only one shot on target, they still conspired to fuck it up. And the real problem with the Terry goal was that Chelsea managed to win three headers in a row which ended up with the ball being free on the six yard line.
