Ask any fan in the country which is a better stadium; Goodison or the Ipro(or whatever the fuck it's called nowadays)

It's a funny old game... 😂🍻

Ipswich couldn't beat Preston at home, but I had a great afternoon at Clapton FC. First time I've seen them win in ages.
I went too, should have said I was going. The penalty looked a bit dodgy from where I was stood?

clearly onside...

Massive result for Chelsea that. Nice to see them still down amongst the shit. Perhaps Clive was right about his conspiracies after all

Didn't see the decision which led to it, I was at the back of the Scaffold so my field of vision wasn't great. I fucking love Briggs though, I was glad he got it.
I also couldn't see at all why Mfula's goal was ruled out - was it handball, or an offside that the ref gave but the lino didn't?

@Pistanator Great goal from Mirallas, changed your mind about him yet?
-
• #123135
He's frustrating cos on his day he's ace, he's just not a team player and isn't consistent enough

Fair points, I remember some kind of penalty strop from him at some point.
I'm disappointed on Everton's behalf, I like the club and the way they're playing, and obviously as a football fan I hate Chelsea. I like Martinez though.

I'm seriously considering the sports bar at Stamford Bridge for the Stoke v Arsenal game, on the basis that they'll support anyone but Arsenal. Almost every other West London pub seems plagued by Gooners.
I've never been there though, is it good venue?

Most football fans are absolute cunts, watch it at home...
-
• #123139
To be honest, I've found the opposite. Most football fans are just a cross section of normal people, but the trolls on the internet are c***s, as you put it, only a small fraction of the people you meet in real life fall into that bracket.
Mind you, I just happen to fall into that small fraction.

When I was still in London and fancied a change from watching the game at my local, I'd pop down to the Portuguese bar down the road... A very refreshing change from the swarms of Gooners, Spuds, Mancs and Kopites that would creep out of the woodwork when you least wanted them to...

So 25 years ago, when I was choosing an NFL team to support, I went looking for a team with loads of history, that never seemed to win anything so that I'd be able to relate. So here I am watching a very good Packer team in the play offs.

Not too bad a shout, I did find a Spanish bar in Hammersmith Station that I enjoyed going to, until it closed when the station was re-furbished.

And to pass the time, here is a quiz Lost Grounds
I've lost 23, replaced 8, (24 if you could count the fact I once saw a cricket match at Northampton's County Ground - so 23 then). Still gutted that for some bizarre reason I never managed to get to the Baseball Ground, given that I grew up near Ashbourne.
I've also been to 2 of the new grounds, where I hadn't been to the old one (Pride Park & St Mary's)

I watched motd for the first time in ages. Leicester really should have won.
Everton should have wrapped the game up earlier.
Was a bit meh about everything else.Wondered why I stayed up to watch it afterwards.
2/7

Leicester really should have won.
U mad bro? Lucky to have a draw.
Worst shitty refs performance yet. Truly incredible.
Never a pen for them, our goal was a handball, Huth should have been off and that was the clearest penalty I've ever seen whatever that cunt moyles says. -
• #123148
We wrapped it up on 91mins
So your thoughts on the officiating by both ref and lino for the Terry goal?

The Everton manager claimed that he had overheard the fourth official, Craig Pawson, agreeing with the referee over his headset that time was up before the final goal.
“The fourth official made it clear it was time, before the ball was played into the box - no debate,” Martinez said. “Maybe the whole ground should see the time left on a big clock. But a player two yards offside in the box? That's unacceptable. It's a decision that should have been given offside. It doesn't come down to the interpretation of the referee. It's a heartbreaking moment for us. The referee wasn't up to the level today.”

If they're consistent they'll ban Martinez for a game and fine him £50K.
Or do those fines only apply to Jose?
Ah. The set up to point out your ground is shit has failed.
