Yup! I'm liking them, it's like I'm wearing nothing at all. I think they're the closest to barefoot you can get, barring huaraches or actually running barefoot. Which is nice if it's what you're looking for, but if it's your first go at the whole minimal thing they might be a tad extreme.
I have some Saucony Kinvara which are 0mm drop and from their "Natural" range so not quite barefoot but saw those a few days ago and fancied trying them for softer off road running.
As in on softer surfaces? I guess they could work, but you'll feel every rock and sprig under your feet. And they're not even remotely waterproof, I wear them sockless because I prefer my feet to get wet directly instead having wet socks.
