That De Rosa frame looks cool as fuck, I love bikes from that era. I well would if I was in your position. I wouldn't put Ultegra on it though. Not much looks good with Ultegra.

Anyone got any advice when it comes to clip on TT bars? I'm going to be using them for ultra distance stuff so it's more about comfort than aero gainz but I can't really see what separates them. Weight saving isn't a massive bother so it's just whatever does the job. Was looking at the Deda Uno Parabolica bars since I'll be getting deda drops too but idk.

I cant give u any real advice other than I had some Deda Fatback 2 carbon clip ons for a while and worked fine as long as you can set them to your comfortable width. didn't use them that much and am actually selling them. I have zero experience of any others.

Zipp Vuka Alumina are probably the best in terms of comfort and adjustability.
Deda are fine, I've had them before, but they use a 24mm extension where the industry standard is 22mm, so you can only use Deda again if you wanted to change extension type.

I can't recommend the Deda Parabolica bars, I bent an armrest hitting a pothole which wrote them off as you can't get replacements. They're not strong enough for my 80kg, I replaced them with Zipp aluminas which feel much more sturdy.

Final mod to the new PX London Road, just fitted some Marathon Supremes to go under the SKS Chromoplastics-with-home-made-flap. Cheers for the forum tyre tip. Also purchased a Blackburn rack and some Ortliebs (thanks @c4shr) so it's tour-ready as well.

Do it, they're fabulous....
I've ridden 1000's miles on something quite similar, super comfy, looks classy and the relaxed 1990's euroboy geo means you feel completely safe descending at any speed vs. the crap modern mamil bikes that employ various compromises to achieve one-size-fits-all economies of scale for the modern globalised manufacturing economy*

You should get Grimeca Bassano wheels, they'd go nicely with the Ofmega Mistral

The line of the forks is a little odd, it doesn't seem to follow the same angle as the headtube. They look a bit like forks which have been crashed.

so much nicer without spoke, not conviced by the stem really..

it's first gen aerospoke and wolber profil A is one of the rarest(best) rim of the world.
the stem is "singular" I confess to you, but I like it on this bike. -
